Welcome to
Freedom and Flow Animal Acupuncture
Natural healing for your pets

Hi, my name is Nadine. My entire life has been spent surrounded by animals, from my first pet budgie as a young child, to chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs and even hermit crabs.
I knew from a very young age, particularly from my first encounter with a horse at the age of 4yrs, that my calling was to work with, and help animals.
I spent 10yrs as a veterinary nurse in small animal practices before pursuing different avenues and interests, all of which ultimately led me back to my passion and where my heart truly belongs – animals.
My introduction into animal acupuncture happened at the age of 7yrs, when our kelpie at the time was being treated with acupuncture. Fast forward some years and I was re-introduced to this magnificent form of healing through my own personal experience. Through conversation with my acupuncturist and my yearning to return to working with animals so strong, the seed for Freedom and Flow was planted.
From my first needling session with horses several years ago, I have seen firsthand the benefits and truly powerful healing process which takes place through acupuncture. Because this ancient form of complementary medicine addresses the root cause of illness, it has the ability, working alongside the energetic body which is receiving treatment, to realign the life energy force and help attain positive health outcomes.
Although I believe there are times and circumstances where conventional medicine has its place and benefits, I also believe that acupuncture has a place alongside other modalities, to offer alternatives which can co-exist and complement each other to treat the body as a whole.
With an open mind, heart and pure loving intentions, I can connect with the individual to help bring awareness to areas which need addressing and for healing to take place. The aim therefore of each session is to help achieve freedom from disease and for the body to flow into alignment towards health and wellbeing – Freedom and Flow.

Why Acupuncture
Acupuncture forms an important foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with this ancient therapeutic technique having been practiced for over 2500 years in both humans and animals.
Acupuncture involves inserting fine, sterile needles into specific points which are located along meridians, or channels, on the body. These meridians are invisible pathways that form a network connecting all parts of the body through which Qi, or energy, flows. Each meridian is related to a specific organ system and this meridian network not only links meridians with each other but has the power to transmit information to and among the organ systems.
TCM understands that if Qi flows freely through the meridians, and the organs work in harmony, the body can avoid disease. This framework enables acupuncture to identify the root cause of health issues and to work to regulate the energy functions of the body to help assist the body’s natural healing processes.
The intention of my acupuncture sessions is to help each individual achieve freedom from disease and for their body to flow into alignment towards health and wellbeing – Freedom and Flow.
